Since opening to the public in 2003, it has grown explosively and today is inhabited by millions of residents from around the globe. You open a free account and start getting used to dancing. You learn dancing quickly and then you want to have exclusive clothes, buy gifts for friends etc all of which costs you real cash. All these virtual items are sold to you at a price. And guess what it doesn't cost the company anything to make them!

1. Your character (avatar) grows fat if you don't dance well or for a time period. Of course they want you to become fat so that you will buy slim pills from their shop!
2. The more you dance, the more your experience points grow and you can wear exclusive clothes.
3. You can hang out in a dance room which holds about 6 people. Avatars generally hang out and socialize in these rooms.You can even create your dance room.
   

I am surprised to see how concepts like these are catching up fast all over the world especially with the younger generation.
